Semper Consulting Team Recognized for Growth and Achievement at 2026 National Conference

Semper Consulting recently joined professionals from across the country in Houston, Texas, for the 2026 National Conference, held Friday, July 24, through Saturday, July 25. The two-day event brought together team members and leaders for industry updates, professional development, recognition, and conversations centered around the future.

The conference opened Friday with an organizational meeting highlighting Semper’s organization’s achievements so far this year, goals for the months ahead, and the people helping move those efforts forward. The meeting shared progress and upcoming objectives, along with recognition for team members who contributed to those accomplishments.

Among those honored was Mackenzie Topinka, recognized for her work in human resources. The honor highlighted behind-the-scenes contributions that support teams and keep operations running effectively.

After the organizational meeting, attendees moved into breakout sessions covering topics including Veterans in Business, Women in Business, and Black Entrepreneurs. The Veterans in Business session explored how lessons from military service, including discipline, leadership, and accountability, can carry into a professional career.

The Women in Business session focused on the paths women take to build careers and step into leadership roles in a male-dominated industry. In contrast, the Black Entrepreneurs session highlighted the journeys of Black professionals and entrepreneurs building businesses and stepping into leadership in an industry where they remain underrepresented. Together, the sessions gave attendees the opportunity to learn from professionals with diverse backgrounds, offering different perspectives on what it takes to build a successful career.
