Connor Hatcher on Leadership, Growth, and Success at Semper Consulting
Growing up in DeLand, Florida, Connor Hatcher always pictured himself building a career centered around people. Long before stepping into sales, he was drawn to roles that involved leadership, communication, and helping others. At one point, he even considered becoming a police officer. Looking back, that interest makes sense. Whether at work or in everyday life, Connor has always been someone who values responsibility, connection, and showing up for the people around him.
After high school, Connor made a move that many wouldn’t expect — he headed to Colorado for three years, traveling, exploring, and experiencing life outside of what he’d always known. It was a formative stretch that broadened his perspective and fed a curiosity about what he was truly capable of. Eventually, he found his way back to Florida, carrying new confidence and a sharper sense of direction.
His career path took a few turns before landing somewhere that stuck. He spent time as a marketing manager for a water filtration company and even tried his hand at roofing, but neither quite fit. Once he saw the opportunity in sales, he knew what he wanted to do. He joined Semper Consulting in October 2025 as an Outdoor Sales Representative and hasn’t looked back.
Building Something Real
Connor hit the ground running. For him, success in sales isn’t just about numbers. It’s about mindset. He believes a positive attitude is the single greatest driver of productivity, and that showing up fully, giving it everything you have, is what separates good days from great ones.

He credits the role with deepening his integrity, sharpening his leadership instincts, and pushing him to mature in ways he didn’t anticipate. “I’ve grown personally through my work ethic, by helping others, and just maturing as an individual,” he reflects.

Built Around Family, Leadership, and Purpose
Outside of work, Connor is anchored by the people who matter most: his fiancée Emily and his two kids, Bennett and Aslyn. Fatherhood, in particular, has shaped how he approaches both life and leadership. In fact, when asked about his greatest skill, Connor did not mention sales or communication. Instead, he answered honestly: being a dad and being a good person.

This perspective carries into the way he approaches leadership and teamwork. He believes in being available to help others, maintaining a positive mindset, and leading by example through consistency and effort. He also credits Semper Consulting President Tyler Lozier and Luis Puig as important mentors who have helped guide his growth and expand his opportunities within the business.
Looking ahead, Connor sees himself staying in the business world for the long haul. More importantly, he wants to continue growing into someone others can rely on both professionally and personally.
